Briton Stephen Dodd preserved his three-stroke lead at the China Open in Shanghai with a two-under-par 70 in the third round on Saturday.
The 38-year-old Welshman, on eight-under-par 208, leads Danish pair Thomas Bjorn and Soren Hansen who are tied for second on 211 at the first event on the 2005 European Tour.
Dodd led by three shots overnight after firing a 70 in near-freezing conditions in Friday's second round. He recovered from a triple-bogey on the par-four seventh on Saturday.
Pre-tournament favourite Bjorn shot a 68 while Hansen, who fractured a finger on his left hand playing basketball nine days ago, had a 70.
Welshman Bradley Dredge also fired 70 to finish the third day in fourth in the $1 million tournament on four-under.
Former British Open champion Paul Lawrie shot a 73 and reached the clubhouse tied on six-over-par 222.
