Defending champion Martina Gillen is the clubhouse leader after the second round of the Lancome Irish Ladies Close Championship at the Island Golf Club.
The Beaverstown player carded a three over par 78 this afternoon for a one over par total of 151 and is currently three shots clear of Milltown's Deirdre Walsh, while Clare Coughlan is a futher shot behind after an 80.
The top 32 finishers after today's second round will now go through to the matchplay stages of the championship tomorrow morning.
