The third Seve Trophy match, Britain and Ireland versus Continental Europe, will now be played over four days rather than three at El Saler in Valencia in November.
The match will begin on Thursday, November 6 rather than the following day, event promoter Amen Corner saying that it will generate additional exposure and avoid any problems with fading light.
The new format will see fourball matches played on both Thursday and Friday, morning greensomes and afternoon foursomes on Saturday and then the traditional 10 singles matches on Sunday.
