Athlone's Colm Moriarty won the Mullingar Scratch Cup yesterday after a bogey-free final round of 63 left him with a 13-under-par total. Moriarty finished one stroke ahead of Mark Campbell of Stackstown. Earlier, Moriarty and Noel Fox from Portmarnock were selected on the Great Britain and Ireland team for next month's Walker Cup, which takes place at Ganton, near Scarborough.
