In the first qualifying round of the Golfsure Irish Close at Tramore, David Ryan of the Grange - the reigining Leinster and Munster Youths champion, leads in the clubhouse on five under par after a 67 this afternoon.The 21 year old made six birdies and just one bogey to lead by one from Des Morgan of Mullingar who shot a 68.
There are three in group on three under par John Hughes, 16 year old Jimmy Walsh from Mallow and Jim Mulready of the Castle all shot 69 earlier in the day.
