Irish amateurs remain in contention

Ireland's top two amateurs Colm Moriarty and Justin Kehoe remain in contention after the second round of the Tasmanian Open. Moriarty from Athlone and Kehoe from Birr are playing in their fourth and final tournament Down Under.

Both men carded level par rounds of 72 are are one over. The event concludes with 36 holes on Sunday. Moriarty and Kehoe are both well fancied to make this year's Walker Cup side to take on the US at Ganton in September.
