Ireland's top two amateurs, Colm Moriarty of Athlone and Justin Kehoe from Birr, are through to the semi-finals of the prestigious New South Wales Amateur Championship. Both men won their respective matches 5/4 and they could meet in Sunday's final.
Moriarty and Kehoe are well fancied to make the Walker Cup team later in the year. Moriarty won the New South Wales Strokeplay Championship on Monday while Kehoe finished third.
