Vijay Singh clinched the £440,000 top prize at the Phoenix Open after a sparkling final round of eight-under-par 63 on the TPC of Scottsdale course. The Fijian finished with an aggregate four-round score of 23-under-par 261 to finish three shots clear of American John Huston who posted a 67.
Overnight leader Harrison Frazar carded a 69, his worst of the week, and dropped back to a share of third with Robert Gamez, South African Retief Goosen and Tim Petrovic.
World number three Phil Mickelson finished in a tie for ninth after finishing with a 64.
