European Tour Order of Merit rivals Padraig Harrington and Retief Goosen have been drawn together for Thursday's opening round of the Volvo Masters. The pair are scheduled to tee off at 12.35pm in the third-last group of the day in the final event of the season at the par-71 Valderrama course. The €3.14m event features 66 of the leading players in the European money list.
Goosen leads Harrington by €23,119 and only needs to finish no worse than one place behind the Irishman to win for a second consecutive year. Harrington, who won the 2001 Volvo Masters at Montecastillo Golf Club after taking birdies at three of the final four holes, was runner-up in last year's order of merit.
