Padraig Harrington has been paired with the USA's John Daly and Australia's Adam Scott for the first two rounds of the British Open at Muirfield this week. The Dubliner, Ireland's highest world ranking player at number 10, joins Darren Clarke and Paul McGinley as they bid to claim one of the four Majors for the first time.
Clarke takes to the fairways alongside American pair David Toms and Kevin Sutherland, while McGinley partners Japan's Toru Taniguchi and Dudley Hart from the USA. World number one Tiger Woods will play alongside England's Justin Rose and Sigeki Maruyama of Japan, while defending champion David Duval is joined by Denmark's Thomas Bjorn and Shingo Katayama of Japan.
