Ireland's Padraig Harrington is tied for second place after he shot a seven-under-par 65 at the third round of the Buick Open in Michigan. Harrington enjoyed his best round of the tournament to date with two birdie bursts, but still fell further behind leader Kenny Perry.
Perry extended his lead with a second consecutive 64, and could now be on course for his first victory in over six years. Harrington is tied on second place with first round co-leader Jim Furyk, who shot a bogey-free 66. Bob Tway, Chris DiMarco and Justin Leonard are one shot further off the pace.
