Ireland’s Darren Clarke is now tied for fourth place at the second round of the Scandinavian Masters in Malmo.
Clarke shot a 2 under par 70 today and is now tied with Swedes Peter Hedblom, Niclas Fasth and Dennis Edlund on 8 under par for the tournament. The Ulsterman had earlier surged up the leaderboard and, at one point, shared top spot with Hedblom.
England’s Lee Westwood is the current leader on 10 under par with Ian Poulter and Colin Montgomerie one shot off the pace on 9 under par. Westwood shot four straight birdies and finished with his second successive round of 67.
Meanwhile, Ireland's other competitor in Malmo, David Higgins, will not make the cut after shooting a 75 to leave him on 8 over par.
