Croke Park will play host to this year's AIB Leinster club senior football semi-finals and the province's hurling final on the weekend before Christmas.

The two football games will take place on Saturday, 18 December, with throw-in times still to be decided, while the hurling decider is scheduled for the Sunday at 1.30pm.

With the 2021 provincial club programme finishing later than usual and the prospect that wintry conditions may play havoc with playing surfaces, the Leinster Council's CCC have taken the decision to avail of the weather-proof surface at GAA HQ.

The club hurling championship is due to begin on the weekend of 28 November, while the football will start a weekend earlier.
