Portarlington claimed their first Laois SFC title since 2001 after cantering to an 11-point win over Graiguecullen in the delayed 2020 final at O'Moore Park.
Seeking a 13th crown, Portarlington looked like victors from an early stage, building a commanding seven-point lead at the break.
When Stuart Mulpeter goaled early in the second half, that set the seal on it, pushing their advantage out to 11 at 1-12 to 0-04.
From there, they saw it out, winning 1-15 to 0-07, Graiguecullen failing to mount a charge. Colm Murphy notched five points in total, four from frees, Jake Foster racked up three from play, while David Murphy stroked over 0-02.
Portarlington push into third in the roll of honour, one ahead of Graiguecullen and behind Stradbally. Portlaoise, who have completely dominated Laois in the 21st century, winning 12 of 13 titles between 2007 and 2019, are top on 35 titles overall.
