Offaly qualified for the Christy Ring Cup final with the minimum of fuss as they defeated Wicklow 6-30 to 0-11 at Bord na Mona O'Connor Park.
Michael Fennelly’s side were overwhelming favourites to progress, and first-half goals from Oisin Kelly (2), Brian Duignan, Killian Sampson and Leon Fox had the home side 20 points ahead at the interval with Wicklow’s cause not helped by an early red card for Ciaran Breen.
The second half was more shooting practice with Ben Conneely adding a sixth goal late on.
Meeting them in the final, the details of which will be confirmed on Monday, will be Derry who were given a much stiffer test against Sligo in Owenbeg. Dominic McKinley and Cormac Donnelly’s side eventually progressed on a 0-28 to 2-17 scoreline.
Team captain Cormac O’Doherty hit a dozen points for the victors with Gerard O'Kelly-Lynch and Joe McHugh grabbing the Sligo goals either side of the interval.
Mayo will have a chance to make up for last year’s Nicky Rackard Cup final defeat to Donegal following their 2-23 to 2-09 win over Armagh in Carrick-on-Shannon.

Keith Higgins hit 0-11 for the Connacht outfit, but they had actually trailed by a point at the break following Armagh goals from goalkeeper Simon Doherty (penalty) and Fionntán Donnelly.
The second half was all one-way traffic though with Aidan Phillips finding the net late on to secure a comfortable Mayo win.
It’ll be more Ulster opposition in the final as Tyrone earned an impressive 2-23 to 1-21 win over Donegal.
Conor Grogan and Cain Ferguson scored the goals for the Red Hands with free-taker Damian Casey also chipping in with his usual big haul of points.
Cavan made history by qualifying for the Lory Meagher Cup final for the first time following a 1-21 to 0-20 win over holders Louth at Kingspan Breffni.
The visitors looked like they had returned to the final as they led by four points with just seven minutes remaining, but a goal from Brian Fitzgerald sparked a late Breffni revival.
Awaiting them in the final will be Fermanagh who left Longford with a highly-impressive 1-21 to 1-13 win over the hosts with Tom Keenan grabbing their goal.
