Kieran Donaghy is set for a role with the Armagh footballers next year.
The Irish News is reporting that the four-time All-Ireland winner with Kerry will be part of Kieran McGeeney's backroom team.
The Orchard County were beaten in the Ulster SFC semi-final having gained promotion to Division 1 of the Allianz League in October. Next year will mark their first season in the top flight since 2012.
Donaghy will work under McGeeney, and alongside Jim McCorry, who has been working with the 2002 All-Ireland champions for the last three campaigns.
The Tralee man has Ulster connections with his late father having hailed from Tyrone.
