Feargal Logan is aiming to hit the "high notes" with Tyrone as he and Brian Dooher begin life as the new senior football management team.
The duo were ratified by the county board on Wednesday night and they take charge following the end of Mickey Harte's 18 years as manager which yielded three All-Ireland titles between 2003 and 2008.
Logan managed Tyrone's 2015 All-Ireland U21 winning side, when Dooher was a member of his backroom team.
Speaking to RTÉ Sport alongside Dooher as the two former All-Ireland winners prepare for a new chapter for Tyrone, Logan outlined their excitement at taking charge.
"It feels like a privilege," Logan told Marty Morrissey.

"Brian and myself will be working hard because with that privilege comes a bit of trepidation that you can deliver what we hope around Tyrone and push forward GAA and football in Tyrone over the next while."
Logan added that they are "realistic about the challenge ahead" but are "hopeful that they can progress and hit the high notes".
Dooher echoed those sentiments about the challenges to come at the start of their tenure.
"We're under no illusions with the challenges that we face here. It's fairly uncertain times at the moment and won't make it any easier but we're definitely looking forward to it," he said.
"As Feargal said, it's a privilege and an honour to be asked to do this job."
