Antrim hurlers confirm positive Covid-19 test in panel

The Antrim hurling panel are all set to be tested for Covid-19 after a member of their panel returned a positive result.

The Irish Independent is reporting that the player travelled to Tullamore on Sunday as part of the the squad which beat Kerry in the Allianz League Division 2A final.

The un-named player is now self-isolating, with none of the panel members understood to be showing any symptoms. 

The Saffrons due to take on Westmeath in their Joe McDonagh opener this weekend.
