Leitrim GAA has confirmed that no spectators will be allowed into the concluding stages of their football championships, including at senior grade.

The county board released a statement last night calling the decision "the fairest solution to all concerned", and setting out their intention to stream games online instead.

This is in order to prevent putting "club officials and county officials in a near-impossible situation as regards who will gain access to the limited number of 'golden tickets'," the statement added.

Forty passes will be available for each club involved in games, to be distributed among players and officials.
