Fifteen years ago today, a new era was ushered in when it came to the relationship between Gaelic Games and other major sports on this island.
After the vote on a motion at the GAA's 2005 Congress, delegates ruled in favour of amending Rule 42 which would make a historic change to the statute books by allowing for soccer and rugby to be played at Croke Park while Lansdowne Road was being redeveloped.
Darren Frehill has been looking back at that famous occasion on RTÉ Radio 1's Morning Ireland with the sounds from that momentous time including Tony O'Donoghue's original report and the words of then-GAA president Seán Kelly, who played a key role in how it played out.
