Longford and Armagh played out a draw, 0-09 apiece, in awful weather at Glennon Bros Pearse Park in Divison 3A of the Allianz Hurling League.

Scores were hard to come by in what was a war of attrition, with Armagh a point to the good as the clock ticked into injury-time.

However, Daniel Connell split the posts right at the death to give Longford a point.

There was another dramatic finish in Darver as Louth fell to a 2-09 to 1-10 home loss against Donegal.

Louth took a -06 to 0-04 lead into half-time having played with the wind at their backs but a see-saw second half ultimately went Donegal's way thanks to a late goal.

It was far more straightforward for Tyrone who cruised past Monaghan 2-17 to 1-07 in Castleblayney.

Damien Casey and Ryan Butler goaled in each half for the Red Hand who never looked in toruble.

Fermanagh and Sligo's Division 3B clash at Brewster Park was postponed due to the adverse weather conditions. A new date for the fixture will be confirmed in the next few.
