Naomh Eanna won their first ever Ulster Intermediate Hurling title after a 1-0 win on penalties against Eoghan Ruadh in Celtic Park this afternoon.

The match finished 2-20 apiece after extra-time after earlier ending 2-14 all with 60 minutes played.

Cormac Ross scored his penalty and Martin Curran was the hero in the goals as the Antrim side came out on top in a riveting encounter, with remarkably just one set-piece scored.

Elsewhere Mayo side Tooreen claimed a second Connacht Intermediate title in three years thanks to a 0-21 to 2-10 success over Kinvara of Galway.
