Michael Foley will be hoping that Saturday night is a cause of double celebration.

The Killarney man will be lining out for East Kerry in the county football quarter-final against Dingle at Austin Stack Park, a game you can see live on RTÉ 2 and the RTÉ Player.

It is a highly anticipated rematch after unpleasant scenes marred the end of last year's championship semi-final clash between the clubs on a day when Dingle won pulling up.

The original plan for Foley was to be in Dublin this weekend after his name was pulled out to appear on Winning Street for the chance to play for a half a million euro.

The Spa forward has his priorities right though, and naturally, there was only ever going to be one choice made, football is more important that any amount of money.

Well, not exactly!

Tralee Today reports that Michael's sister Melissa is flying in from London to represent him in the studio in Donnybrook, meaning he can concentrate on trying to overturn last year's 13-point defeat.

Follow Killarney Legion v St Brendan's Board and Dingle v East Kerry (Throw-ins 5.15pm and 7.00pm) on Saturday 19 October live on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player.
