Michael Maher has been appointed as the new London senior football manager.

Maher succeeds Ciarán Deely to become the county's first London-born manager and has stated his commitment to developing home-grown players.

Maher was part of Deely's backroom team in 2019 and has been heavily involved in the London GAA club scene in recent years.

This year the Exiles put up a stern challenge to Galway in the Connacht Championship before losing out by four points in Ruislip before suffering a 10-point defeat to Offaly in Tullamore in Round 1 of the qualifiers.
