Kerry legends Kieran Donaghy and Aidan O'Mahony have joined the coaching ticket IT Tralee senior football team.
Donaghy has been appointed joint-manager to work alongside Liam Brosnan who has been at the helm for the last two years.
Two-time All-Star O'Mahony will be coming on board as a selector and will be joined by Clive O' Callaghan (John Mitchels) & Eoin O Shea (Castlegregory) and Joby Costello (Goalkeeping Coach) in the backroom team.
Former Footballer of the Year Donaghy comes into the management position having worked as a performance coach with the Galway hurlers last year.
Speaking after his appointment the four-time All-Ireland winner told IT Tralee:
"I am very excited by the challenge ahead, it's my first venture into management and I learned a lot working with the Galway hurlers last year. IT Tralee is a great asset to the county and the facilities are fantastic. I can't wait to work with an amazing bunch of players and I hope we can represent the Institute as best we can."
Big coup by @ITTraleeGAAClub to get @starryboy14 & @GmailMahony on board. Two intelligent, passionate, driven men. Best of luck lads. 👏🏻

Both Donaghy and O'Mahony will be working with a host of talented footballers in IT Tralee, including current Kerry stars Gavin Crowley, David Clifford and Dara Moynihan.
The trio are key players in the Kingdom outfit who played out a thrilling draw against Dublin in the All-Ireland final with the replay coming up on Saturday 14 September in Croke Park.
