Bernard Brogan, Eoghan O'Gara and Rory O'Carroll have all missed out on a place in Dublin's match day squad for today's All-Ireland final with Kerry.
The trio played in Blue as recently as 4 August, four weeks ago, as the defending champions finished off their Super 8s campaign with a six-point win over Tyrone.
But they were left out of the squad which overcame Mayo in the semi-final, and that is the case once more for this afternoon's decider, according to the match programme.
Brogan, who is 35, was the footballer of the year in 2010, but did his cruciate in the spring of last year.
Diarmuid Connolly, who returned to the panel after a proposed move to play in Boston for the summer fell through in June, is amongst the substitutes.
