In a little patch of the Naul, in north Co Dublin, lies a perfectly manicured field, expertly cultivated to provide Croke Park with its turf.

This land was purchased by the GAA in early 2018 to combat the problems they faced when relaying the famous pitch in the summer after concerts.

Ahead of this week's All-Ireland SFC final between Dublin and Kerry,  RTÉ's Nationwide took a peek behind the scenes to see the science - and the bees - behind maintaining this striking carpet.
