Brennan replaced Colgan late on against Mayo a fortnight ago after the latter had been dismissed on a black card and conceded a penalty.
In other changes to the Royals side which will be playing for pride, Shane Walsh and Darragh Campion come into the attack in place of the injured Mickey Newman and James Conlon.
