If Tyrone's Sean Kerr can win the Open Singles at the Irish Wallball Nationals this weekend, it will represent a remarkable clean sweep for the 20-year-old Breacach star.
Kerr, a former All-Ireland minor champion in the 40x20 court, has been attending and winning titles at the Wallball Nationals for half his life.
To date, he has won all juvenile grades from 11&U right through to 19&U and, this weekend in Breaffy House, Castlebar, he will aim to land the big one.
Kerr turned some heads with an excellent performance in winning the prestigious Mount Talbot tournament in Roscommon, the traditional Nationals warm-up event, and has been installed as number two seed for the Nationals, which have recently been rebranded from One-Wall to wallball..
"Wallball is different, it's probably more enjoyable and relaxed than other forms of handball," said Kerr.
"You go in and have a bit of fun, relax a little and take the pressure off. Four-wall would be the main game but wallball lets you take a couple of months over the summer to have a break from that and have some craic, kind of enjoy it a bit more. There’s no pressure on you, whatever happens, happens."

Over 400 players will descend on the Mayo venue, with grades running right up to Over-40s in ladies and Over-65s in men's.
"It’s a very big family event, parents and kids all playing. Since I was a child, playing in the 11&U grade, I’ve been going to Breaffy every year," said Kerr, who recently competed in a professional event in Salt Lake City, USA.
"I think it’s a very good weekend, it gets big numbers and you have the hotel and handball courts all joined under one roof. There’s a great atmosphere and it’s very enjoyable if you get to play on the centre court and there’s a packed gallery there."
Heading the field will be Galway's Martin Mulkerrins, a former champion who has just returned from US Nationals in Los Angeles, in which he lost the final to Paul Brady.
"Darren Doherty of Monaghan will be a big danger, he’s a very good wallball player. Ben Devlin (Louth) is also a threat. And if Martin makes the final of course he would be hard to beat because he will have the games under his belt," said Kerr.
Hot favourite in the Ladies Open, meanwhile, is Limerick's world champion Martina McMahon. Action serves off this evening [FRIDAY].
