John Murphy hit the match-winning point at the end of extra-time as Offaly beat Dublin 1-29 to 2-25 in the quarter-final of the Under-20 Leinster championship.

The match finished level after 60 minutes had been played and Offaly went on to dominate the early stages of additional time to open up a seven-point lead.

Dublin dragged themselves back into the contest with a late Matthew Dunne goal before Cian Derwin levelled matters in the final minute of the added time.

But a late, late free handed Offaly a chance to seal the match and Murphy made no mistake to secure a one-point victory for the Faithful County.
