Clare dual-star Ailish Considine has signed a new contract with the Adelaide Crows for the 2020 Women's AFL season.
Her side won the Grand Final in March defeating Carlton in front of a record crowd of 53,034 and Considine was among the goal-scorers.
It was a dream debut season for the Kilmihil-native who made a huge impact throughout the campaign, scoring four goals.
There was a strong representation of Irish players in the League, Donegal’s Yvonne Bonner and Cora Staunton were at the Greater Western Sydney Giants.
Tipperary’s Aisling McCarthy has recently re-signed for Western Bulldogs, and Mayo’s Sarah Rowe who was with Collingwood is also expected to return for a second season.
