Two more Dublin hurling stalwarts have retired from inter-county duty.

The Sky Blues' 35-year-old goalkeeper Gary Maguire - who won an All Star in 2011 - and his Ballyboden team-mate Shane Durkin, 31, have decided to call it a day.

Ryan O'Dwyer and Johnny McCaffrey announced their departures last month. All four were part of the side that won a memorable Leinster SHC title back in 2013 under the guidance of Anthony Daly.

With new manager Mattie Kenny now at the helm, Dublin have won all three of their Walsh Cup matches so far - against Carlow, Laois and Offaly.

They will play Galway in the semi-finals next Sunday.

Their first league match is against Carlow on Saturday fortnight.
