Cork and Clare will meet in the McGrath Cup semi-final next Saturday after comfortable wins in their respective semi-finals.
The Banner cruised past Waterford at Ballinacourty, turning at 1-08 to 0-02 half-time lead into an 11-point win, 1-17 to 1-06.
Cork blitzed Limerick early in the second half at Rathkeale.
The Rebels led by just three at the break, 1-06 to 0-06, but goals from Paul Walsh and Ian Maguire within three minutes of the restart as good as decided the game.
Limerick didn’t score in the second half until the third minute of stoppage time when Seán Sweeney registered a point. Cork’s winning margin was 17 points – 3-15 to 0-07.
