Tipperary 4-20 Kerry 1-14

Tipperary topped Group A and progressed to the final of the Co-op Superstores Munster Hurling League after a convincing win over Kerry in Nenagh.

Having already beaten All-Ireland champions Limerick before Christmas, they finished the group stage with two wins from two and will now face the winner of Waterford and Clare, who meet tomorrow.

The final is down for decision on Sunday, 13 January.

Kerry started well and only trailed by 0-09 to 0-06 midway through the first half, but then goals from Jason Forde, Mark Kehoe and Noel McGrath put the Premier County in command.

Patrick ‘Bonner’ Maher got the fourth after the break before Shane Conway responded with a late consolation goal for the Kingdom.
