Former Galway football star Pádraic Joyce has taken his first step into management after being he was confirmed as the new manager of the Galway Under-20 boss.
Joyce was ratified as the new manager of the youth side by the county board, succeeding Gerry Fahy.
The two-time All-Ireland winner beat out former minor manager Stephen Joyce and former senior boss Val Daly, who were also nominated for the role.
This is Joyce's first position as an inter-county manager and he'll hope that he can bring the success he had as a player into management.
