Wexford's 1996 All-Ireland winner Eamonn Scallan has been confirmed as the new manager of the Wicklow senior hurlers.
Scallan, who was recently in charge of the Wexford minors, takes over from Seamus Murphy who stepped down from his role in September, citing illness and the need for fresh impetus within the county squad as reasons for his departure.
Wicklow will begin 2019 in Division 2B of the Allianz League before they embark on their Christy Ring Cup campaign in the summer.
