The Roscommon County Board have confirmed Anthony Cunningham as their new football manager.
Aidan O'Rourke was their preferred candidate a few weeks ago but the former Armagh player and ex-Louth boss ruled himself of the process.
Cunningham has previous football managerial experience, having led Garrycastle to an All-Ireland Club final, and also winning two Coonnacht Club SFC crowns with St Brigid’s.
He also managed the Galway hurling team and worked with Dublin under Pat Gilroy.
