Dublin will kick off their Leinster SHC round-robin campaign next year against Kilkenny, while Joe McDonagh Cup winners Carlow start with a daunting trip to Galway.

The Dubs are currently conducting the search for a new management team after Pat Gilroy stepped down from the position last month.

Brian Cody meanwhile will lead the Cats into the Championship for a 21st season after his stay was confirmed on Tuesday night.

Wexford are idle for the first round of fixtures and get their campaign under way against the Dubs the following week.

The championship will be run over six weeks next year, as opposed to the five weeks of action we witnessed last summer. It means that no county will play for than two weekends on the bounce.
