Michael Graham has been ratified as the new manager of the Cavan senior football team following a county committee meeting on Monday evening.
The former Cavan senior player has previously managed his county's minors and has had success at club level in Cavan, winning junior and intermediate titles with Butlersbridge and Drumalee.
He also enjoyed club success with Mullinalaghta in Longford winning back to back senior titles in 2016 and 2017.
Graham takes over from Mattie McGleenan, who left his position after the All-Ireland qualifier defeat at the hands of Tyrone in July.
Current Cavan GAA Games Development Manager and former All Star Dermot McCabe will join Graham's backroom along with Monaghan native Martin Corey who will have a coaching role.
The rest of the backroom staff will be appointed in time for the new league campaign when Cavan will play in Division 1, having secured promotion this year.
