The GAA have revealed for the first time the progress being made on the re-development of Páirc Uí Chaoimh which is expected to be ready and opened for next year’s Munster football final.

The development is costing €80million and will accommodate 45,000 supporters when completed in June of 2017.

Expected to host 25 match-days a year as well as concerts, each major event at the stadium will be worth an estimated €10million to the local economy.
