MUNSTER CLUB SFC QUARTER-FINAL

Kilmurry-Ibrickane (Clare) 0-08 Dr Crokes (Kerry) 1-14

Daithi Casey's second-half penalty proved the catalyst for Dr Crokes to burst away from Kilmurry-Ibrickane in Quilty on Sunday afternoon.

Kilmurry captured the Clare crown with a thoroughly convincing replay dismissal of Cratloe last week, but those exertions seemed to catch up on them them against the classy Crokes.

Crokes led by three at the break - 0-07 to 0-04 - as the home team dug deep, but they ran out of gas after Casey slotted home from the spot on 35 minutes.

That made it 1-07 to 0-05 and there was no way back for Kilmurry, who had couldn't quell a ruthlessly efficient Crokes attack.
