Killyclogher were crowned champions of Tyrone for the second time as they swept to a 14 points win over Coalisland in a one-sided replay.

Tyrone star Mark Bradley was on fire up front, hitting eight points, six of them from play, as he led his side to O’Neill Cup triumph.

They were seven points ahead at the break, and there was no way back for Coalisland once they lost midfielder Padraig Hampsey to a second booking two minutes after the restart.

Bradley skipped past his marker three times I the opening eight minutes to fire over stylish points, and when Tiernan McCann surged forward to add another, they led by 0-4 to no score, with less than ten minutes played.

The St Mary’s were tight and disciplined at the back, talking with intensity and driving forward with pace.

Simon O’Neill launched a long range effort, and they were seven-nil ahead by the time Cormac O’Hagan opened Coalisland’s account from a ’45.

Bradley fired over another delightful effort to restore the seven points cushion, and when Conal McCann knocked a ’45 between the posts, Coalisland’s task seemed almost impossible.

Dermot Thornton pulled back a point, but Killyclogher held a commanding 0-9 to 0-2 lead at the interval.

Hampsey’s dismissal robbed the Fianna of their talismanic leader, and they fell 12 points behind as Aidy Kelly, Simon O’Neill, Tiernan and Conall McCann, and Bradley all found the target.

Coalisland did rertrieve scores through Stephen McNally and Michael McKernan, but this was to be Killyclogher’s night, and the O’Neill Cup was soon in the grasp of skipper Martin Swift.
