Dublin 2-04 Mayo 0-05
Dublin are five points up at the interval in the All-Ireland football final, despite none of their players scoring for the first 31 minutes.
Mayo started the game brightly, with Tom Parsons kicking the opening score before a Cillian O'Connor free put them two points up.
However, then disaster struck as Kevin McLoughlin inadvertently deflected the ball into his own net from a shot from Bernard Brogan.
Brogan had reacted quickest after David Clarke had gotten down well to save from Brian Fenton.
Things went from bad to worse for Mayo when Dean Rock spilled a free only for Colm Boyle to accidentally put the ball past Clarke for a second own goal.
Mayo responded with a free from Donal Vaughan before Dublin's James McCarthy was shown a black card for a third man tackle.
McCarthy was replaced by Paddy Andrews, who marked his arrival by kicking a great point from the Hogan Stand side.
Once again Mayo replied with a point, this time from corner forward Jason Doherty, before Andrews kicked his second point of the game.
Dean Rock, normally so consistant from place balls, had struggled to find the target - converting one from four - before he added a point just before the break to extend Dublin's lead to five.
