Kilkenny received a late boost ahead of today’s All-Ireland final against Tipperary with the news that goalkeeper Eoin Murphy has been passed fit to play.

It was reported that the Glenmore man had suffered an injured ankle in training during the week but he has taken to the field of play and is taking a full part in the warm-up.

Speaking pitchside on RTÉ's Sunday Game Live programme, former Kilkenny star Eddie Brennan said Murphy looked "100%".
