Antrim are through to the Christy Ring Cup final in their first year back in hurling’s second tier following their semi-final win over Down in Loughgiel.

They came out on top 1-24 to 0-23 in a thrilling game and the Saffrons will play either Kildare or Meath, who meet in the second semi-final on Sunday in Newbridge.

Derry drop out of the Christy Ring Cup and into the Nicky Rackard Cup after they lost the relegation play-off to Wicklow 1-15 to 2-22.

Mayo and Armagh will meet in the Rackard Cup decider after their last four wins on Saturday.

Mayo saw off the challenge of Donegal in Letterkenny on a 1-18 to 2-11 scoreline, with Armagh beating Fingal 3-19 to 1-11 at Dublin’s Naomh Barrog club.

Sligo will meet Louth in this year’s Lory Meagher Cup final on Sunday, June 4 at Croke Park following their 1-22 to 2-5 win over Leitrim at Markievicz Park on Saturday.

In the other Lory Meagher Cup Round 5 game, Warwickshire enjoyed a comfortable win over Lancashire. Having been level at the break they went on to score six goals in a 7-16 to 2-11 victory.
