Antrim kept their Christy Ring Cup odyssey on track with a 2-14 to 1-12 Round 2A dismissal of Roscommon in Dunloy on Saturday afternoon.

Nigel Elliott and Conor Carson goals fired them to another victory after last week's convincing 3-20 to 0-17 slaying of Kildare in Parnell Park.

The Lilywhites produced the right reaction in Arklow as they condemned Wicklow to their second loss on the bounce in Round 2B. Joe Quaid's charges always had the hosts at arm's length en route to a 0-17 to 0-09 success.

Down started their campaign with defeat to London last week but they edged a real battle in Owenbeg to see off Derry 1-18 to 1-15.

On Sunday Meath turned over London at a sun-kissed Ruislip, coming away with a 2-17 to 1-16 win.

In the Nicky Rackard Cup Mayo had too much for Armagh in James Stephens Park. Kenny Feeney was supreme as the Orchard men were sent packing on a 0-22 to 1-11 scoreline.

Fingal prevailed in a cracking encounter with Monaghan. Darren Renahan and JM Sheridan goaled for the north Co Dublin men as they came out the right side of a 2-19 to 3-15 Castleblayney thriller.

Donegal also survived a pulsating collision in Leterkenny as they overcame Fermanagh 3-15 to 3-11, while Longford just found enough to see off Tyrone by 4-18 to 3-17 in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.

Louth plundreed Pairc na hEireann in the Lory Meagher Cup as they earned their second win on the trot against Warwickshire. And at the same venue Leitrim were too strong for Lancashire, taking the honours with a 2-18 to 2-10 triumph.
