Maggie Farrelly will make history in Garvaghey tonight when she becomes the first female referee to officiate a senior men’s inter-county game.
Farrelly will take charge of the refixed McKenna Cup clash between Fermanagh and St Mary's, which was postponed on Sunday.
The Cavan woman was a sideline official for the Ulster senior club championship meeting of St Gall's and Tempo Maguires back in 2012 and became the first female to take charge of an inter-county game last year when she oversaw an Ulster minor championship collision between Fermanagh and Antrim.
She will now break new ground when she throws in for the round 1 fixture at 8.00pm tonight.
Fermanagh have a decent recent record in the McKenna Cup, making the semi-finals in 2012, 2013 and 2015.
Pete McGrath will be looking for another strong showing as a platform for a tough looking league; the Ernesiders' NFL Division 2 campaign starts with a trip to Derry before a home fixture with Meath.
