Tadhg Kennelly says that Australia are determined to make up for the shambolic performance of the 2013 visitors when they face Ireland in Croke Park on Saturday.
Two years ago the AFL sent over the Indigenous All-Stars to represent the country in the International Rules series and were hammered on a 101-point aggregate score.
All-Ireland winner Kennelly, now part of the Australia coaching staff, told RTÉ Sport that things will be different this time around, with an All Australian panel selected for the second year in a row.
The Kerry native, who is hoping to help his adopted country retain the Cormac McAnallen Cup, said: “This is a very strong Australian team. This really is a dream team of AFL footballers, this is the best of the best.
“Last time an Australian team set foot in Croke Park they were embarrassed.

“I think the AFL people were embarrassed by the whole lot and I can guarantee you that won’t happen this Saturday."
Also speaking at Dublin Airport, where the team touched down earlier today, Western Bulldogs’ star Robert Murphy said: “It’s exciting, it’s a different concept for us with the round ball but it’s one that we’ve kind of attacked with a fair bit of vigour.
"There’s a lot of pride amongst the group.”
Ireland v Australia throws in at 7pm on Saturday and is live on RTÉ2.
