Kilkenny's TJ Reid is among those named in the Irish squad for the second hurling/shinty international against Scotland.

Jeffrey Lynskey and Gregory O'Kane will be keen for a reversal of fortunes after Ireland lost by 3-15 to 2-08 in Inverness last month.

The game, which will be broadcast live on RTÉ2, takes place in Croke Park at 4.35pm on Saturday 21 November before the International Rules game between Ireland and Australia.

The squad, which features a number of players from Christy Ring Cup sides, is augmented by the inclusion of GAA/GPA Opel All-Star Hurler of the Year Reid, Waterford's Maurice Shanahan and David McInerney of Clare.

Laois centre-back Matthew Whelan captains the Irish side.
