RTÉ and GAAGO will broadcast the 2015 EirGrid International Rules match between Ireland and Australia in Croke Park on Saturday, 21 November.

Like the 2014 series won by Australia in Perth, this year’s series will be played over one winner-takes-all single test and will be broadcast live on both RTÉ2 and RTÉ Radio 1 on the island of Ireland.

Users abroad will also be able to watch the test in high definition on their desktop computer, laptop, tablet or mobile device using GAAGO, the Association’s global match streaming service in partnership with RTÉ Digital.

Group Head of RTÉ Sport Ryle Nugent said: “As another great GAA Championship year draws to a close RTÉ is delighted to be able to bring the 2015 EirGrid International Rules Test to Irish audiences live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Radio 1 as well as bringing live and on demand coverage to international audiences through GAAGO in partnership with the GAA.”

GAA president Aogán Ó Fearghail also welcomed the new agreement: “Representing your country on an international stage is a fantastic achievement for all of the players and management involved. These broadcast arrangements will ensure that the domestic and indeed international exposure they so richly deserve is recognized and I anticipate a sizeable audience will tune in for what promises to be a fantastic occasion for both countries.”

The match will begin at 7pm.
